About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Hinge Health, you’ll be a key contributor on a high-impact, cross-functional team that delivers end-to-end solutions across the user journey. This is a fullstack role with a strong emphasis on frontend development using ReactJS and backend services built in NodeJS.You’ll design, build, and scale secure, reliable, and maintainable applications that integrate with internal systems and third-party services. You’ll actively participate in architecture and design discussions, lead development efforts, and mentor team members across geographies. Working closely with product managers, architects, and engineers, you’ll translate business needs into thoughtful technical solutions while maintaining a high standard for clean, well-tested code.Beyond shipping features, you’ll also be responsible for identifying and addressing technical debt, contributing to system reliability, and continuously improving team processes. What You'll Accomplish
Every day, you’ll work collaboratively with your teammates, product manager and engineering manager
Every sprint, you’ll will design and run technical DnD’s, and work along with team on implementation
Every quarter, you’ll support staff engineer with, executing a significant platform-wide upgrade or innovative change to our workflow or tooling
Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.
Qualificatons:Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of non-internship full time professional software development experience
- 3+ years of work experience with react native and Node JS/ Typescript
- 1+ years of experience in mentoring and leading junior team members, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and contributing to project planning and decision-making
- Experience with using AI tools such as Github copolit or Cursor
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
Full stack engineer with exposure to front end technology like react js and backend technology like NodeJS
Experience on hosting the solution on Cloud like AWS
Exposure to work with 3rd Party technology is an added advantage
