Senior Software Engineer

Overview

What you’ll be working on

● Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs for our form-building products.

● Owning features end-to-end, from architecture planning to implementation, deployment, and monitoring.

● Modernizing legacy PHP systems and ensuring smooth transitions through version changes and dependency upgrades.

● Developing Python-based microservices and integrating them with existing PHP applications.

● Optimizing database performance and ensuring the efficiency of queries and storage mechanisms.

● Working closely with product and frontend teams to build seamless and high-performing user experiences.

● Improving CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment and operational workflows.

● Mentoring and guiding engineers on best practices and contributing to the overall architecture of our platform.

We’d love to hear from people with

● 8+ years of professional experience in backend development, specializing in PHP and Python.

● Strong expertise in modernizing and maintaining PHP applications, including WordPress-based and standalone web applications.

● Experience with PHP/Python frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Codeigniter, Flask, FastAPI, Django).

● Proficiency in RESTful API design and working with API integrations.

● Solid experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.

● Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for scalable application deployments.

● Experience implementing testing frameworks for backend services (PHPUnit, PyTest, etc.).

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot legacy systems.

● Interest in collaborating across teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving technical excellence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,200,000.00 per year
