Senior Software Engineer

Vutto is a new startup (backed by marquee Angels & VCs) disrupting the used two-wheeler market in India. With our full-stack model, we offer a seamless and trustworthy platform for buying and selling used bikes.

The opportunity

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer at Vutto — leading the charge on developing, and launching our core platforms as we scale. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will work alongside the founders and play a central role in building and growing the company. Your role would involve crafting intuitive user features, implementing advanced automated tools, and collaborating closely across departments for flawless integration.

Role Description

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, secure, and scalable web & mobile applications
• Implement strategies to optimize speed, scalability, and user experience
• Collaborate with other departments (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure the technology stack seamlessly supports the entire business
• Collaborate closely with the founders on product strategy, roadmap, and execution
• Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies relevant to ecommerce

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands on software development experience in building and scaling tech products
• Deep full-stack expertise: Backend, Frontend, Devops
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Product mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• High sense of ownership and responsibility

Nice to have:

• Ex-founding engineers or experience at an early stage startup are a big plus
• Exposure to AI/ML, recommendation systems, or e-commerce platforms
