Senior Software Engineer

About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at SpeakUp, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our SpeakUp® platform — empowering millions worldwide to report misconduct safely and anonymously. You’ll work across front-end, back-end, and mobile technologies, writing high-quality, maintainable code while embracing the latest innovations in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
• Write clean, readable, and efficient code, following industry best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively integrate them into our development processes.
• Work with modern concepts such as serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, SPAs, TDD, BDD, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and support junior developers and new team members to strengthen team capability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly software solutions.
• Contribute to defining and implementing best practices for AI-assisted development.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• AWS certification (minimum Associate level).
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Vue, or Flutter (a big plus!).
• Solid experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Practical experience developing products with generative AI features.
