About The Role

The Development Infrastructure team plays a critical role in multiplying the impact of our product teams. We create an environment that fosters high-quality software development and engineering excellence. This team has become instrumental in the success of our engineering organization.

As a Senior Engineer based in the APAC region, you'll be a critical player on our team, focusing on building and maintaining testing frameworks, setup, and tools that streamline testing for the company and enhance security for our engineers across all time zones.

Key Areas You'll Work On:

• Build Systems and automation to test in pre-prod environment
• Enable up testing using synthetic data
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in development workflows
• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Bridge engineering teams across different regions and time zones
  
  

What You Will Do:

• Own Complex Features: Design and deliver features for Development Infrastructure offerings, contributing to the strategic roadmap
• Engineering Productivity: Provide engineering teams with tools and workflows to develop changes reliably with reduced effort
• Cybersecurity Mission: Actively participate in our mission to stop cybercrime through innovative AI solutions and remediate vulnerabilities and build secure images
• Leadership: Lead code reviews, standups, and other software development lifecycle activities
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers
• Testing Automation: Build and maintain testing automation frameworks and tools like ACA, Smoke Test
• Documentation & Communication: Write and review technical design documents, ensuring clear communication across regions
  
  

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer building backend systems and/or platforms
• Strong Python proficiency with 4+ years of hands-on experience
• Security Background: Experience with security practices, vulnerability remediation in Python, and cybersecurity industry knowledge
• Testing Automation: Experience with testing automation frameworks and tools like ACA, Smoke Test
• Development Infrastructure Experience: 2+ years working with teams like "Engineering Effectiveness", "Engineering Productivity", "Development Experience", or "Development Infrastructure"
• Customer-Obsessed Mindset: Experience working with internal engineers to determine roadmaps and understand stakeholder needs
• End-to-End Project Delivery: Proven ability to deliver complex projects from conception to completion
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven experience leading and motivating team members across diverse, distributed teams
• Communication Excellence: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and articulate system designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving complex technical issues
• APAC Region: Located in or willing to relocate to the APAC region with flexibility for cross-regional collaboration
  
  

Nice to Haves:

• Advanced Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• CI/CD Systems: Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD systems
• Additional Languages: Proficiency in Go
• Global Teams: Previous experience working with distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones
• Experience building minimal, reproducible container images (e.g., Chainguard-style) with secure, source-based packaging.
