Senior Software Engineer, Android, Search Discover

Overview

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Discover is on a mission to empower users to explore their passions by curating perspectives and information. This role involves owning a key part of the user experience: the Discover Client on Android.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives on the Android client side to deliver user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across India and the US to ensure the success of this team and its charter. With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring they align with Discover Android's mission and goals.In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on.
