Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong backend expertise in Python/Django, exposure to load testing and performance optimization, and working knowledge of ReactJS for frontend integration. This role involves building and maintaining infrastructure systems for managing server hardware data and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a robust Inventory Management System using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Develop a Redfish Exporter to collect and expose hardware metrics (CPU, memory, storage, network) using Redfish APIs.
• Integrate load testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter) to assess system performance under scale and optimize API response times.
• Implement and manage caching solutions (e.g., Redis) to reduce backend latency.
• Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases; optimize queries and design scalable schemas.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams for deployment and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Provide basic UI support using ReactJS, working closely with frontend teams to integrate APIs and deliver a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues in staging and production environments.
• Follow best practices in Git-based version control and CI/CD automation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong hands-on experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) for building APIs.
• Experience integrating and running load testing tools such as Locust or JMeter.
• Familiarity with Redis or equivalent for backend caching.
• Proficient with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
• Comfortable in Linux environments and familiar with deployment processes.
• Exposure to ReactJS and ability to contribute to frontend tasks as needed.
• Solid understanding of Git and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to support production systems.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
