Senior Software Engineer, Google Fi

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development, with expertise in building web-based applications.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Java, Typescript and Databases.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Managers and User Experience (UX) designers across the globe.
• Experience in building end-user-facing products.
• Experience with E-commerce.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that power Fi’s buyflow experience.
• Establish best engineering practices and influence them through design decisions, processes, and tools.
• Drive technical direction, prioritize projects, and contribute to innovation.
• Advocate engineering excellence on the Web platform, focusing on performance, reliability, monitoring, and testing.
