JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Available: Automation Specialist (Job Grade 23/24)

We are seeking a talented Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, with expertise in Python, VBA, and SQL, along with practical experience in API handling. While familiarity with Power Query, Power BI, and dashboard creation is desirable, it is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation solutions utilizing Python, VBA, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and enhance existing processes.
• Leverage API calls to integrate systems and streamline workflows.
• Design and manage efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes and procedures.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver customized automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or errors within automation processes.
• Independently manage Proof of Concept (POC) projects alongside other development tasks.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in automation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in automation using Python, VBA, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of APIs with hands-on experience in API handling.
• Proficiency in Power Query and Power BI is a plus but not required.
• Experience in creating dashboards and visualizations is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not a strict requirement.
