We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who excels at tackling complex problems and shipping features that matter. In this role, you will contribute to building AI-driven products designed to reshape how individuals learn and develop. Your work will emphasize rigorous execution, with a focus on creating solutions that scale, remain maintainable, and deliver measurable results.

• TeachTales: Delivers personalized, immersive storytelling that enhances student comprehension.
• TimeBack: Functions as an intelligent learning assistant, integrating with existing tools to provide proactive student coaching.
• Athena: Generates AI-powered videos and assessments to produce tangible academic results.
  
  

This position is centered on creating tangible impact through functional software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to develop full-stack systems that address real challenges, not simply fulfill task lists. The expectation is to deliver quickly while maintaining quality, always selecting the most straightforward correct approach that balances immediate delivery with sustained maintainability.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Own user stories from concept through deployment; define requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
• Diagnose and Resolve Defects: Trace issues to their root causes, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent future regressions through strategic testing
• Elevate Engineering Standards: Assess design proposals and code submissions to ensure they are clear, simple, and correct, preventing technical debt at the source
  
  

• Creating overly polished interfaces or intricate backend architectures for their own sake
• Executing specifications without first understanding the underlying problem
• Spending excessive time in meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating across teams
• Merely delivering features; your responsibility is solving genuine problems
  
  

• Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains sustainable over time
  
  

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (framework-agnostic).
• Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not merely completing isolated assignments
• Self-sufficient execution: Capacity to resolve blockers independently, maintain your own momentum, and navigate through uncertain conditions
• Practical experience integrating generative A.I. into everyday development workflows

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
