Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience with iOS application development.
3 years of experience with testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with existing Android systems with the ability to leverage and adapt them for the iOS platform.
Knowledge of the iOS system and the ability to identify and address technical tests.
Ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for iOS development, shaping multi-year iOS strategy for agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Drive technical consensus and align engineering efforts within the team and across collaborating organizations.
Lead the execution of technical projects within timelines and for product launches.
Collaborate with engineers and technical leaders across various Product Areas, including DeepMind, Platforms and Devices, Research, and Search.
Promote a culture of technical excellence, learning, and collaborative problem-solving within the engineering team.
