We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, developing, and optimizing solutions within the Murex environment using Java and associated technologies.
This role requires deep expertise in backend systems, Murex frameworks, and integration tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable backend systems using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Contribute to the optimization and development of Murex functionalities (MxML, MxML Exchange, MX Workflow)
- Implement solutions using Murex C2 Framework to meet business needs
- Design and maintain integrations using middleware technologies like JMS and Kafka
- Work with scripting languages and SQL to ensure robust data management and processing
- Apply XML, XSLT, and FpML standards in workflows and data processing initiatives
- Address and resolve complex technical challenges related to Murex integration and development
- Support Rates products-related applications and ensure high-performance delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- 5-11 years of experience as a Java backend developer with expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka
- Proficiency in Murex frameworks including MxML, MxML Exchange, and MX Workflow
- Background in Murex C2 Framework and SQL alongside scripting languages
- Understanding of XML, XSLT, and FpML standards
- Familiarity with middleware technologies, including JMS and Kafka, alongside integration tools
- Capability to work on applications related to Rates products
Nice to have
- Background in Murex development and integration with a minimum of 2+ years of experience
- Skills in handling sophisticated Murex environments effectively
- Showcase of adaptability for integrating new technologies into existing systems
