Overview
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
- 5 years of experience building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality and code health (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 5 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- Experience with engineering productivity or platform services.

Responsibilities
- Work as a team to deliver impactful milestones for Google's infrastructure.
- Participate in coding, implementation, testing and productionization of major deliverables.
- Act as the team's point-of-contact to other teams to provide guidance on how their systems needs can be best supported.
- Innovate and experiment with various techniques to improve the system both in performance and functionalities.
- Maintain a high bar and set the right design and coding standards.
