As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be central in building and optimizing high-performance pipelines, APIs, and backend systems that collect, structure, and deliver deep sector intelligence. You’ll leverage .NET and MSSQL to support data-intensive applications, ensuring robust, reliable, expert-grade content. This position offers a clear path toward assuming future team leadership responsibilities.

What You'll Do
- Architect, develop, and maintain .NET and MSSQL-based systems powering Deep Sector data products.
- Design and optimize relational data models and queries to support granular, industry-specific analytics.
- Build scalable APIs and integration layers for internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate advanced analytics and machine learning into sector-specific products.
- Participate in technical design and code reviews for continuous improvement and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine production environments to guarantee the quality and stability of deep sector content delivery.
- Champion best practices, mentor junior team members, and foster technical excellence in deep sector applications.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in .NET/C# development.
- Advanced proficiency in MSSQL database architecture, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Excellent grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems for data-driven applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with AWS (preferred), or other major cloud services such as Azure or GCP.
- Experience maintaining and migrating applications between .NET Framework (legacy, Windows-only) and modern .NET (.NET Core/.NET 5+) environments.
- Familiarity with Python for data processing or analytics.
- CI/CD knowledge—GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins; expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
