- Design and Develop: Create user interactions on web pages and develop server-side logic using Java frameworks like Spring Boot
- Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Snowflake to optimize data storage and retrieval for analytical processing
- Utilize Snowflake's capabilities to automate data processing workflows, enhancing efficiency and reliability
- Manage and optimize databases using Snowflake to ensure high performance and availability
- Leverage Snowflake for data analysis and visualization, enabling informed decision-making
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain to improve software performance, maintainability, and resiliency
- Integration: Integrate data storage solutions, including databases and key-value stores
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain to improve software performance, maintainability, and resiliency
- Identify and investigate problem areas, conduct root cause analysis, propose and implement mitigating solutions
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Improve processes supporting all aspects of the software development lifecycle including source code management, testing, automation
- Take E2E ownership of technical delivery
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
- Do required POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
- Operational and APM Tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). - Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in the software engineering profession across entire SDLC
- 4+ years of Proven work experience as a Snowflake Developer
- Proven experience delivering software using an Agile / Scrum methodology
- Experience working with applications deployed in private or public cloud
- Database Management: Experience with SQL databases
- Experience creating version management strategy and working knowledge of version control systems like Git/GitHub
- Experience with Azure storage, Azure Services
- Knowledge of data model design and implementation for solutions from high level requirement
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS and experience working with SQL Server/Oracle and No SQL including writing complex join queries and SQL query tuning
- Back-end Technologies: Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Html, Devops and Microservices
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
- Understanding of layout aesthetics and responsive design principles
- Proficiency in Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Data bricks or other cloud-based tools.
- Proven competence in using Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Front-end Technologies: Proficiency in React, Typescript HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
