Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report findings.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design appropriate testing strategies.
• Design and execute manual test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of application features.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues using a bug tracking system.
• Continuously improve testing processes and practices to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in the test planning and test case design process, employing BDD (Behavior Driven Development) with tools like Cucumber.
• Conduct performance and regression testing as needed.
• Keep abreast of new testing tools and strategies to incorporate into the testing process.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Selenium and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java and proficient in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks.
• Good experience with BDD, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks, such as JUnit or similar.
• Knowledge of performance testing and tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
