Senior Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product excellence and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform UI Testing, Automated Testing, and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) strategies.
• Conduct API testing using REST Assured and validate backend services.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using QA tools and processes.
• Work with SQL queries for database validation and data integrity testing.
• Conduct web security testing and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Contribute to automation framework enhancements using Selenium and Appium.
• Ensure timely test execution and high-quality releases.
• Take ownership of testing deliverables and continuously improve testing processes.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years as a Software Tester / QA Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, API Testing, REST Assured, Selenium, Appium
• Experience with Java, HTML5, DB2, XML
• Experience in web security technologies.
• Familiarity with QA tools and testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
