Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Tester with 6+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of STLC, Agile methodologies, and hands-on expertise with tools like Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA activities including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Conduct manual and automation testing across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and API testing tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high product quality.
- Review test results and provide clear, actionable quality reports.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of QA experience with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, REST-assured, Postman, JMeter).
- Experience in API testing, performance testing, and cross-browser testing.
- Familiar with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Willing to work on-site in Coimbatore.
- Can join immediately or within a short notice period.
