About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Analyse product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
2. Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and internal tools.
3. Conduct functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT testing.
4. Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
5. Own the complete testing lifecycle for assigned modules.
6. Re-test bugs and validate fixes with engineering teams.
7. Ensure the stability and quality of production releases.
8. Prepare test reports and maintain documentation.
9. Suggest process improvements and contribute to quality best practices.

Other Requirements:

1. 2+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.

2. Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, test planning, and defect lifecycle.

3. Ability to write well-structured test cases and scenarios.

4. Experience with any bug-tracking or test-management tool (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

5. Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

7. Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

8. Basic understanding of API testing (Postman).

9. Knowledge of SQL for basic queries and data validation.

10. Exposure to UI/UX testing.
