Taqtics is a fast-growing SaaS platform helping retail, restaurant, and pharmacy businesses streamline daily operations. Our cloud-native platform enables multi-location teams to manage workflows, attendance, training, ticketing, and analytics—all in one place.

As we scale rapidly across India and the Middle East, we're seeking a Senior Technical Lead to take charge of platform reliability, guide our growing dev team, and help shape our product’s technical direction.

Role Overview

You’ll play a hybrid role—leading backend architecture and dev workflows, while also stepping in to manage execution and unblock the team. You’ll ensure the platform runs smoothly, mentor developers, and represent the tech team in meetings when needed. You will be the primary technical lead covering India/Middle East working hours, working closely with our globally-distributed CTO.

This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who wants to combine deep technical skills with team leadership and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the platform’s reliability, performance, and scalability
• Lead architectural planning and ensure best engineering practices
• Guide and mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and unblock decisions
• Take ownership of critical development modules from design to deployment
• Monitor infrastructure and incident response during core business hours
• Represent the tech function in product/ops meetings when needed
• Support sprint planning, release management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Contribute to long-term technical vision in sync with the CTO

What We’re Looking For

• 6–10 years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a tech lead or engineering manager role
• Strong experience in backend development and scalable API design
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP also fine)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, observability, and performance monitoring
• Ability to manage developers, delegate work, and ensure clean, maintainable code
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Prior experience in SaaS, B2B products, or startups is a big plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing remote development teams
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with multi-tenant architectures
• Comfort with compliance-aware engineering (SOC2, ISO27001)

Pay: From ₹2,400,000.00 per year
