Senior Technical Lead I

Overview

This is a position at Ericsson R&D where you get to work with a team of highly motivated engineers in delivering Ericsson's world-leading telecom application servers. We are creating a team to consolidate our leadership in this marketplace and help build the next generation Cloud Native products. These telecom applications are part of Ericsson's Network Exposure Portfolio.

Within PDG Exposure- IAM (Identity & Access Management) Agile methodology and philosophy are practiced in spirit.

What You will do:

• Perform continuous analysis, feature handling and improve product test efficacy.
• You are continuously experimenting and learning something new.
• Be accountable for feature quality and maintenance including test analysis, development, automation, test, integration/release, and bug fix validation.
• Ensure product quality, automated testability, efficient continuous integration, and customer releasable deliveries.
• Trouble shoot product issues and support our customers
• Develop competence in technical domain
  
  

• Good knowledge in UNIX/Linux, Python / SHELL scripting and test Automation
• Good knowledge in API, Functional, System test and tools, Java / JMeter etc.
• Working knowledge of network protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, etc.
• Good knowledge, and experience in following competence domain for SW QA:
• Writing and Reviewing FT Use cases and adding CT and UT test cases using Must Have Strong understanding of IAM concepts:
  
  

Authentication & Authorization

RBAC / ABAC , Cucumber Framework

Identity Federation

Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools.

Knowledge of IAM protocols:

OAuth2

OpenID Connect

SAML 2.0

Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools.

Good to Have

Exposure to IAM products such as:

Keycloak

Okta

Ping Identity

ForgeRock

Microsoft Entra ID

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing practices. Additional experience in Characteristics / Non-functional testing would be a big positive

• Working knowledge of IAM
• Creative problem-solving skills and strong troubleshooting / debugging skills
  
  

Minimum years of relevant experience: 5- 10 years of overall product test experience with a minimum of 4 years on a Functional testing role.

Education: B. Tech Degree in CS/EC/EE or related studies. M. Tech Degree is a plus
