Education Qualification: Any graduation or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong background in Database Testing and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies for both backend and frontend systems, with a focus on ensuring quality and accuracy in complex financial applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive test cases based on software requirements and functional specifications.
• Perform manual database testing and validate complex SQL/DML queries to ensure data integrity and correctness.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using tools like SOATest, SOAP UI, and Selenium.
• Work on Web Service (SOAP/REST) and UI testing, including legacy system validations.
• Collaborate with business analysts and customers to verify business rules and clarify data-related queries.
• Work in Agile environments, participating in sprints, planning, and stand-up meetings.
• Log defects clearly and track them through HP ALM and JIRA.
• Develop reusable components and contribute to the overall test automation framework.
• Prepare detailed test reports, document test execution outcomes, and support QA sign-off.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Database Manual Testing and Automation Testing
• Strong proficiency in SQL/DML and a solid understanding of RDBMS concepts
• Experience in automation using SOATest, SOAP UI, or Selenium
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (HP ALM, JIRA)
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Must be Strong on with SQL/DML.

Good understanding of RDBMS.

• Member will be creating test scripts using SOATest/SOAP UI / Selenium
• methodologies (Agile is an advantage), and industry standard processes.
• Members will be involved in creating test scripts and execution
• Members should contact customers to verify business rules and/or clarify data analysis
• Member will be involved in Web Sevice / UI testing along with Legacy application testing.
• Good to have Playwright
