Senior UI Developer

Role : Contract, Remote

Salary : 120K PM

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Develop and maintain the UI of the application using Nuxt3, Vue3, and TailwindCSS.

* Write and maintain unit tests using Vitest to ensure high-quality code.

* Implement Web Accessibility (WCAG) guidelines in the UI to support users with disabilities.

* Communicate effectively with client technical partners to clarify requirements and align on implementation.

* Provide UI-related suggestions, including accessibility improvements, to enhance the design and user experience.

* Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and grooming sessions.

* Perform system study and requirement analysis to understand the functional and non-functional needs of the application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and sprint commitments by working closely with the development team.

* Support the team by providing guidance on UI best practices and troubleshooting complex UI- related issues.

* Collaborate with other teams working on sub-projects in Vue2 and Angular, ensuring

consistency across applications.

* Conduct peer-to-peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards and improve team efficiency.

* Mentor and train junior developers, helping them upskill in UI development.

* Track and manage tasks using JIRA, ensuring proper UX and PO sign-offs.

* Work closely with stakeholders to manage dependencies across multiple applications.

PRIMARY SKILLS

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* 8+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in Vue.js and modern UI frameworks.

* Frontend Development: Nuxt3, Vue3, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TailwindCSS.

* Unit Testing: Vitest.

* State Management: Pinia.

* Web Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and accessibility best practices.

* Agile Development: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, sprint planning, and estimation.

* Version Control: Git.

* Code Review & Mentoring: Experience in peer reviews, mentoring junior developers, and training

team members.

* Communication & Collaboration: Strong client interaction and team collaboration skills.

SECONDARY SKILLS (IF ANY)

* Experience with Vue2 and Angular (for sub-project support).

* Basic knowledge of backend APIs and integrations.

* Understanding of performance optimization for frontend applications.

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED (IF ANY)

* Certifications in Web Accessibility (WCAG) or Frontend Development (Optional but

preferred).

* Agile/Scrum Certification (Preferred but not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
