Senior Web Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer with strong expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter to lead and manage web development projects. The ideal candidate should have a passion for clean, scalable code and a proactive mindset for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and CodeIgniter
• Write clean, secure, and scalable PHP code with proper documentation
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA teams
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug existing applications
• Maintain database structures and implement migration strategies
• Mentor junior developers and manage code versioning (Git)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter frameworks
• Proficiency in MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Experience in deployment and server handling (Apache/Nginx)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Experience with Vue.js, React, or other frontend frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of Docker or CI/CD pipelines is a bonus
