ServiceNow Data Architect
Role Summary & Role Description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Data Architect to design, implement and manage ServiceNow solutions for CSDM, CMDB Taxonomy and Data Warehousing. In this role, you will be a member of a geographically distributed team of ServiceNow developers and administrators. This position requires technical architecture, best practices and delivery expertise and strong knowledge of the baseline ServiceNow capabilities to ensure the smooth operation and continual enhancement of the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow Data Architect
Role Summary & Role Description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Data Architect to design, implement and manage ServiceNow solutions for CSDM, CMDB Taxonomy and Data Warehousing. In this role, you will be a member of a geographically distributed team of ServiceNow developers and administrators. This position requires technical architecture, best practices and delivery expertise and strong knowledge of the baseline ServiceNow capabilities to ensure the smooth operation and continual enhancement of the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Data Architectural Governance:
- Define and lead the technical architecture for a large ServiceNow data platform and the accompanying Data Lake and reporting infrastructure.
- Govern the CMDB Taxonomy and oversee the CMDB Health remediation efforts.
- Authorize and manage the data exports of production data.
- Drive the adoption of secure, sustainable, and performative techniques for the movement of data.
- Govern the adoption of the Common Service Data Model.
- Partner with Platform, Discovery and Integrations, Compliance and Business teams to align technical roadmaps and business objectives.
- Translate business needs into data solutions and architectural strategies.
- Design and optimize compliant solutions for Cloud data representation in the CMDB including strategies for managing and governing ephemeral infrastructure.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization within ServiceNow workflows.
- Stay current on ServiceNow product developments, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.
- BE/BTech/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of hands on experience in data architecture, platform engineering or data management.
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform data architecture.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)/Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certifications (e.g., Data Foundations, ITSM, HAM).
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and / or other BI platforms.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow data schema and architecture, especially the CMDB and CSDM.
- Proven expertise in designing data ingestion, storage, processing and orchestration. Deep knowledge of data modeling, data governance, data security and working with privacy regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, especially under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines and have strong work ethics.
