JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Software Engineer who is responsible for understanding the requirements, have to convert the requirements to Java code, test the code, also project in the front end with Angular/any Front-end technology tool, test it and make it available for Business users
• The ideal associate will have significant experience with Teradata, performance tuning, ETL processes, Unix, and Python. Additional exposure to AWS and Snowflake is preferred.
• The associate will work on optimizing data solutions and ensuring efficient data management frameworks are in place.
• The associate should be a skilled Software Engineer with 4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.
• The ideal associate will have a strong background in Snowflake, AWS, SQL, and Python, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality code and solve complex problems.
  
  

• Role requires 24*7 support on rotational basis includes weekend support as well.
• Design, implement, and optimize data-driven applications using Snowflake and AWS services.
• Develop, test, and deploy efficient and reusable code in Python.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve existing solutions.
• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for production systems as needed.
• Should be able to perform analysis on data provided.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  

• 3-5 Years of Experience overall experience
• 4 years of proven experience in software development with a focus on Snowflake, AWS, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
  
  

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Understanding of Data Lake architecture and Data Mesh concepts
