About Business Line/Function

The ITG FRS is a talented group of professionals, who support the bank’s finance and risk divisions within the IT Group.

The team develops and maintains internal bespoke software solutions for Finance - BEACON.

Beacon is an internal global finance application that is used to report accounting controls performance results, it is essentially used to maintain a repository, track and perform accounting controls.

Beacon's Main Objectives Is To

• Provide a single global control tool where all controls are captured, maintained, and completed on a regular basis.
• Comply with BNP Paribas’ Control Framework => 1st and 2nd Level Controls
• Provide a clear linkage from Level 1 to FACT with a detailed audit trail. Display
• Display Balance based and generic controls workflows and possibility to perform different control plans (ACP, LCP…)

Position Purpose

The project currently requires a Software developer who can design, develop, and maintain high quality software that is innovative, fully performing and complies with coding standards and technical design.

The candidate needs to have experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs.

This role requires candidate to support UK/Madrid/Paris stakeholders. Candidate would require to work in second shift i.e. 12-9 (IST) but it can be made flexible as per business requirement.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

The candidate should have knowledge of commercial software development experience in designing Web based applications using .NET and SQL. He should be good in ASP.NET using C# and PL/ SQL. A good hands-on knowledge of Object-oriented programming, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, WebAPIs, WCF, and MVC is necessary. Knowledge of advanced JavaScript frameworks such as Angular/Knockout/ React is good to have.
