About the job:
As a Software Developer at NioPractice, you'll play a key role in shaping an AI-powered tutor that helps millions of students prepare for the toughest exams around the world. You'll be shipping production features weekly, collaborating directly with the founder, and receiving rapid feedback from users and the team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Build real features, fast - Design and develop user-facing functionality using React.
2. Contribute to our AI engine - Use Python and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, or commercial LLM APIs) to implement intelligent features and personalized learning flows.
3. Learn and work across the stack - Contribute to backend services, APIs, and databases as needed (Python/MySQL/etc).
4. Deploy and monitor on AWS - Gain hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure and production-ready systems.
5. Test with real users - Participate in user testing, collect feedback, and iterate quickly to improve the product.
6. Be part of the full product lifecycle - From brainstorming and prototyping to shipping and improving features based on real-world usage.
7. Collaborate closely - Work in a fast-paced, startup environment where your ideas and code go live quickly and meaningfully.
