Software Developer - Product Development

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team at Marsh McLennan based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid position, allowing for a flexible work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development and will be eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

We will count on you to:

• Assist in the development of software solutions that support Oliver Wyman's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Learn and apply best practices for secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle under the guidance of senior team members.
  
  

What you need to have:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in software development with exposure to MERN/MEAN Stack technologies.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and frameworks such as Node.js, React, Express.js, and Angular.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is mandatory; other certifications will be considered a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), demonstrating knowledge of cloud services and deployment practices. Getting certified will be a requirement for success.
