You’ll collaborate with a PM and developer to design and deploy AI-driven engines, model context protocols, and retrieval-enhanced systems that serve real users.
Key Responsibilities
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Build backend services and pipelines for AI-powered tools using OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, or similar providers.
- Architect and implement Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to structure dynamic context feeding into LLMs.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.).
- Integrate internal documents, tickets, and structured data using embeddings, chunking strategies, and retrieval logic.
- Handle token limits, cost optimization, and response formatting in LLM integrations.
- Continuously evaluate model performance, improve prompt structures, and tune latency and throughput.
- Collaborate with the front-end developer to expose AI features in the UI.
- Run experiments and A/B tests to validate POC value, accuracy, and efficiency.
Your Knowledge & Skills
- Expert in Python with strong knowledge of AI toolkits (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and token budgeting.
- Experience with embedding models (OpenAI, Cohere, sentence-transformers) and RAG design patterns.
- Hands-on with vector DBs like FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, etc.
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation techniques (e.g., BLEU, ROUGE, user feedback loops).
- Experience integrating external APIs and internal databases using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
- Strong grasp of cloud-based deployment, model caching, and performance optimization.
- Bonus: Experience fine-tuning LLMs or working with open-source models (LLaMA, Mistral, etc.).
- Passion for staying updated with the latest in generative AI research and capabilities.
