Role Description
As a Founding Developer at Varicash, you'll play a central role in designing, building, and scaling our fintech platform from scratch. You'll have complete ownership over core technical components and will collaborate closely with the team across product, design, and engineering.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who loves solving problems, building fast, and working end-to-end. We value ownership, speed, and clarity, and we're looking for curious, ambitious people who want to help shape something new from the ground up.

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 1-3 years
Start date: Immediately

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and develop product architecture and backend systems
2. Build web and mobile apps using React/React Native
3. Set up and manage AWS infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and deployments
4. Work on backend APIs and services (Python desirable)
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to ship fast and scale securely

Skills required:

Other Requirements:

1. 1+ year building fintech or finance-adjacent products

2. Hands-on experience with AWS, React/React Native, and DevOps

3. Strong fundamentals in Python, APIs, and distributed systems

4. Comfortable taking ownership and making key technical decisions

5. Experience or interest in fintech or financial platforms

6. Prior experience with IndiaStack (AA, eSign, Digilocker, etc.)

7. Background in fintech or early-stage startups

8. Product mindset and design awareness
