Job Summary

The Back-Office Middleware team is looking for a knowledgeable Sr. software Engineer to join our agile cross functional team as a technical leader to build / integrate the future Financial and Backend, and Contract Management systems. Help create seamless integration with our CRM system. Design and implement integrations to all corporate financial systems, Development of feature sets and product enhancements, Debugging and troubleshooting source code, Responding promptly and professionally to defect reports, Responsible for analysis and troubleshooting of defects and coordinating refactor and design solutions, Researching customer issues, product initiatives, and providing input and development to problems/issues, Develop an understanding of product knowledge, architecture, and solutions, Estimate task lengths, development activities, and meet schedules, Other duties as assigned

What you will do

• Develop, Deploy, test, and maintain custom solutions


• Learn / receive specialized training on Salesforce, Apttus, NetSuite


• Design and implement integrations to all corporate financial systems


• Integrating third party applications as needed


• Install and configure various OS’s, database’s, manage roles and permissions


• Assist in maintaining high levels of performance, uptime and overall integrity of DigiCert’s global production systems


• Responding promptly and professionally to defect reports


• System administration scripting (bash, python, php, PowerShell, etc.)


• Continual system performance analysis and capacity planning


• Provide regular status and track work relating to assigned projects and tasks


• Incident response as needed to resolve system failures


• Provide recommendations, cross-training and other support for team members


• Participate in and contribute to the evaluation, design, analysis, installation and maintenance of system architecture


• Participate in and contribute to risk management, business continuity management, policy review and compliance audits


• Look for ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures


• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Review current Backoffice systems and look for ways to improve integrations / automation

What you will have

• Strong knowledge in GO, PHP


• Strong knowledge of relational database


• Experience working with RESTful web services


• Experience with object-oriented design, coding, unit testing and continuous integration/delivery


• 3-5 years of professional experience working in the software industry


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent


• Willing to learn new technologies


• Detail-oriented, quick learner, problem solver and team player


• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Nice to have

• Salesforce, NetSuite, Apttus, Contract Management Systems


• Experience with Cassandra, MariaDB or MySQL


• Experience designing/developing cloud-based products


• Understanding of SSL, PKI, and other security related technologies


• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes


• Experience with Git and GitHub
