Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible to develop and deploy software solutions to make IBM developers more productive and secure.

- Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to automate the scanning, approval, and full lifecyle management of open source desktop developer tooling.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and developer stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the developed solutions by adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Collaborating with other teams to introduce best automation practices and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Embracing an Agile culture and employing relevant fit-for-purpose methodologies and tools such as GitHub and Jira.
- Maintaining good communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely on a global scale, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Resource should have 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Python programming language & frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with developer tools like GitHub, VSCode, CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience using & building containers and containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
- Familiarity with Micro-services and serverless architectures
