Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer with strong hands-on experience in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). You will play a critical role in building backend services, developing websites, and maintaining scalable systems for both customer-facing and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js

- Implement Basic CRUD Operations and manage user authentication, authorization and secure API access.
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas and queries.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs into React-based UIs.
- Work on the company’s core web platform, admin dashboards, and service modules.

- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.

- Handle file/document uploads securely with metadata storage.

- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend services.

- Monitor and optimize system performance , uptime and resource usage.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile sprint planning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams

- Implement inter-service communication protocols, ensuring data consistency and access control between services.

- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for Project , code, systems and Workflows.

Required Skills

- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on relevant experience in Backend development & website development.

- strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Strong Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

- Solid understanding of MongoDB and data modeling.
- Experience with React.js for frontend integrations.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and JSON data structures.

- Hands-on experience managing RBAC, user roles, and data-level permissions.

- Understanding of microservices architecture, secure service-to-service communication and service boundaries.
- Ability to write clean, modular, well-documented code.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Familiarity with Git & Github, branching strategies, and code reviews.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices (basic CI/CD, containerization) & cloud services (AWS) is a plus.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Experience with AWS, Docker & CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions)

- Basic knowledge of Nginx, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka.
- Familiarity with authentication flows (JWT, OAuth).
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Next.js.
- Experience in microservices architecture.
