Software Developer (WordPress/Shopify)

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Shopify & WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining eCommerce websites on Shopify, as well as designing and customizing WordPress websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-performing web solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement Shopify apps, plugins, and third-party integrations.
• Customize Shopify themes based on brand guidelines and client needs.
• Optimize Shopify websites for performance, speed, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify-related issues.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Optimize WordPress sites for speed and security.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and website maintenance tasks.
• Ensure website compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to implement website designs and updates.
• Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure high-performance and bug-free deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Shopify, WordPress, and web development.

An Ideal Applicant should have :

• Minimum 1 year experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (for Shopify).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress themes, and plugin development.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for website development.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time/Contractual

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
