The Exocloud team at Rubrik is at the forefront of developing the next generation of data management solutions. About The Role

As part of the Exocompute team, you will be instrumental in:

• Building the Exocloud Platform: We are responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of Exocloud, Rubrik's next-generation platform. This involves developing a multi-tenant, scalable, and cost-effective SaaS platform that supports a wide range of applications and services.
• Developing Zeus Datastore: We own the Zeus datastore, a critical component for managing SaaS relational data. This includes guiding the design, implementation, and ongoing development of Zeus to ensure it meets the performance, reliability, and scalability requirements of our SaaS offerings.
• Enhancing Platform Capabilities: We work to enhance the platform to support a growing number of customers and applications. This includes everything from improving operational efficiency, to scaling our systems, to reducing on-call load.
  
  

What You’ll Do

You will design, build, and maintain Rubrik’s data lifecycle services. You’ll help solve problems such as:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, maintainable, and scalable SaaS and cloud-based applications for Rubrik's Data Lifecycle Management services.
• How do you optimize cloud computing/storage so that the cost remains low at scale?
• Collaborate with partner teams such as Product Management, QA, UI, UX, documentation and support teams
  
  

Experience You’ll Need

• 2-5 years of experience in developing large-scale distributed systems
• Exceptional understanding of distributed systems
• Sound understanding of cloud architecture and internals for AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven experience in data structures, algorithms, software design, and systems
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team on complex, time-sensitive projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
