Job Title: Software Engineer- Java
Years of Experience: 2-4 years
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong skills in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services. The role involves developing and maintaining scalable web applications using both backend and front-end technologies, including JSP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, Crystal Reports, and experience with Windows/Linux environments is a plus. A solid understanding of design patterns and the software development lifecycle is essential.
What will you do?
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications using Spring Framework, Hibernate, JSP, and Servlets.
- Build and consume RESTful web services in Spring Boot for application integration.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define system functionality.
- Develop user-facing features using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure software releases are delivered on time with proper deployment and configuration.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues across development and production environments.
- Work with relational databases using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Generate reports using Crystal Reports (if required).
- Operate and support applications on Windows and Linux environments.
What skills required?
- Work experience of Java, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, Servlets, XML, HTML5, CSS3, JSON is required.
- Work Experience of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST Web services and various application servers
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle & Documentation
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs follow specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Knowledge of Crystal report is desirable
- Knowledge in SQL and PLSQL is an added advantage
- Work experience on OS – Windows, Linux
