Primary Responsibilities

- Development and Implementation:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, and participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Code Reviews and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and fix bugs, and ensure the software meets quality standards
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
- Mentorship and Training:
- Mentor and support junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and technical challenges
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the development team
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes
- Ensure that documentation is clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges in a timely manner.
- Provide support for production systems, including troubleshooting and fixing bugs, and implementing enhancements
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- API Development: 3+ years of experience in designing and developing RESTful web services
- React JS: 3+ years of experience in React JS for creating interactive user interfaces
- PostGres: Proficiency in relational database management using PostGres
- Hasura GraphQL: Proficiency in Hasura GraphQL for building enterprise-grade GraphQL backends
- Deployment: Proficiency in deployment processes using Git Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
- Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration
- Problem-Solving: Proven solid analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Communication: Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Mentorship: Proven ability to mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
- Continuous Improvement: Proven commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
