Picture Yourself At Pega
As a Software Engineer in the product, you’ll contribute to adding/enhancing features to CDH application through PRPC that exposes for sound technical understanding along with excellent domain exposure. Role would also call for customer exposure in terms of resolution to customer issues, remaining attentive and empathetic to customer experiences and helping to resolve them with the best possible ways. Role would call for achieving high quality deliverables, and thereby maintaining high level of application quality score. - Active participation in design and development of technical and functional requirements of features in Customer Decision Hub Product
- Owning up and delivering on the committed development activities as per defined best practices without schedule variance and exhibiting the characteristics of understanding the customer needs instead of settling down for the documented requirements
- Staying on or ahead of schedule in assigned tasks and providing regular updates to leads on the project progress and outstanding work/issues.
- Actively participating in the Scrum processes used to develop solutions - providing continuous feedback and implement changes to our development processes
- Actively contributing to innovations (finding solutions to the challenges in application development)

What You've Accomplished
- Bachelor’s /master’s degree or equivalent
- 2 to 3.6 years’ hands-on experience with at least one object-oriented language and real-world project delivery (e.g., Java or Python with OOP principles).
- Strong logical and analytical skills, ability to understand requirements deeply and craft efficiency, maintainable solutions.
- Willingness to quickly learn the Pega Platform and Customer Decision Hub, curiosity to master decisioning concepts.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and relational data access (SQL), familiarity with caching and pagination patterns.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD practices, ability to write unit/integration tests.
