Primary Responsibilities

- Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software
- Collaborate with technical architecture team on technical design for new features or functionality
- Collaborate with respective Product owner to understand Product vision, objectives and Metrics
- Establish and maintain solid software engineering practices
- Establish a delivery framework that ensures quality through code review and adherence to standards
- Thoroughly test new functionality (End to End, Regression, etc.)
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Solid understanding of software engineering and processes: application security, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, Agile, and Dev-Ops
- Experience working with teams that leveraged two or more of the following: continuous integration or continuous delivery tools, containerization, public or private cloud, web applications and web services
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- 3+ years of Java or J2EE experience
- 1+ years of hands-on experience Python, Go
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in React and Node
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in production public cloud (AWS)
- Solid, hands-on knowledge in JUnit or equivalent framework
- Solid, hands-on knowledge in SQL, RDBMS and NoSQL
- Hands on experience in working with standard DevOps tools
- Build automation tools such as Hudson, Jenkins, Travis CI or equivalent
- Build Tools such as Maven, ANT, Gradle or equivalent
- Source control tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in using design patterns
- Experience working in cross-functional teams - Solution Design, Development, Quality Engineering and DevOps
- Hands-on knowledge in trouble shooting, performance tuning, and optimization
- Proven solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a global team with a positive team spirit
- Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Work experience in Agile or Scrum Methodology
- Work experience in product engineering
- Knowledge of configuration tools such as Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible
- Knowledge of SAFe
- Knowledge of US Healthcare domain, in general and data analytics applications or products in particular
