Mandatory Skills
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in software development with a strong focus on C# and the .NET framework.
- Proven and demonstrable hands-on experience with .NET 6 or .NET 8.
- Significant and successful experience in migrating applications from ASP.NET MVC 4.x to modern .NET versions (6 or 8).
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and T-SQL development, including designing and optimizing database schemas and writing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing applications.
- Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR) for managing Docker images.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and deployment.
- Lead and participate in the migration of existing ASP.NET MVC 4.x applications to .NET 6 or .NET 8.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Implement and manage containerization of applications using Docker.
- Deploy and manage applications using Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to integrate backend services.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in .NET development and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
- Potentially mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Familiarity with .NET UI component libraries such as DevExpress, Telerik, Infragistics, or Kendo UI.
