Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are actively hiring multiple Software Engineers with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our distributed engineering team and help build/maintain robust, scalable applications.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy clean, maintainable, and efficient code for backend, frontend, or full-stack features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning in an agile environment.
• Write unit/integration tests and ensure high code quality and system reliability.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly (on-call rotation may apply).
• Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the remote team.
• Stay updated with emerging tools/technologies and propose improvements to our stack.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements (Non-negotiable for shortlisting)

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (post-graduation / relevant internships not counted).
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following core languages (with production-level experience):
  • Python (preferred for backend/AI-adjacent work)
  • Java / Kotlin (enterprise/backend strength)
  • JavaScript / TypeScript (frontend/full-stack)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL preferred) + basic NoSQL knowledge (MongoDB/Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms – at least one of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Knowledge of containerization & orchestration basics – Docker + exposure to Kubernetes or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills with good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and time/space complexity.
• Excellent English communication (written & verbal) for remote collaboration – daily stand-ups, Slack/Teams, async updates.

Highly Desirable (Big Plus – Mention in Resume)

• Full-stack experience (React/Next.js + Node.js/Python/Django/Spring Boot).
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) + state management.
• Working knowledge of cloud-native tools (Terraform, Serverless, monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana).
• Basic familiarity with AI/ML integration (e.g., calling LLMs via APIs, LangChain basics, or prompt engineering).
• Experience in agile/Scrum teams and tools like Jira/Linear/ClickUp.
• Contributions to open-source or strong GitHub portfolio with personal/side projects.
