Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing data storage systems and develop scalable data solutions in Snowflake.
- Design and implement data warehouses, providing guidance to the team on Snowflake SnowSQL.
- Migrate data from on-premise SAP BW, databases, and files to Snowflake.
- Perform performance tuning of Snowflake pipelines and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Work with DBT and Python for data transformation and integration.
- Develop advanced SQL queries for data analysis and standardization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in ELT/ETL processes.
Skills Required:
Must-Have:
- Strong expertise in Snowflake DB (data modeling, SnowSQL, pipelines)
- Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation
- Proficiency in Python for automation and integration
- Advanced SQL skills for queries, analysis, and standardization
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with MS SQL and MySQL databases
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and best practices
- Exposure to SAP BW migrations or similar legacy systems
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
