Responsibilities
- Determine the needs of users of technical documentation
- Work with technical staff to make products and instructions easier to use
- Write or revise supporting content for products
- Standardize content across platforms and media
- Collect user feedback to update and improve content
- Proved working experience in technical writing of software documentation like(not limited to):
- User manuals with multiple language support
- Service manuals
- FAQs for operational delivery
- FAQs for sales
- FAQs on the product
- Release notes of the product
- Privacy and security manuals
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation with high attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly understand the domain and its workflow and express them effectively in documentation.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and express them in a way that is easily understandable.
- Excellent written skills in English.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, Adobe FrameMaker, Astoria, and oXygen.
- Familiarity with API documentation.
- Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is desirable.
- Experience with localization processes and standards.
