About The Job

You will own end-to-end test automation for critical web and API applications in the P&C Insurance domain. This includes requirement analysis, framework design and enhancement, script development, failure root-cause analysis, and integration with CI/CD. You’ll drive quality metrics, embed automation best practices, and mentor peers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a Scrum setup.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and design automation scripts with execution plans
• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Automate UI and API test cases: smoke, functional, end-to-end, regression
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform failure analysis on automation script breaks, fix root causes, and re-execute
• Peer-review automation code and provide constructive feedback
• Track automation metrics (e.g., first-time pass %, execution coverage) and publish updates to internal and client leadership
• Drive and evangelise automation best practices, tools, and accelerators based on the technology landscape
• Provide guidance and upskill other team members on new automation capabilities
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and regularly update stakeholders on automation status
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven technical experience in functional, in-sprint, end-to-end, and regression automation
• Strong proficiency in C#, Playwright, REST API testing, and automation framework architecture
• Experience with test management tools like ADO and version control with GIT
• Demonstrable experience working in Agile/Scrum and distributed team models
• Ability to meet and drive quality metrics (e.g., first-time pass rate)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
• Mandatory domain experience in P&C Insurance
