Software Engineer

Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to design scalable, high-performance software solutions that meet business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure seamless integration with other systems and third-party services through APIs and other technologies.
• Develop and execute unit tests, identify bugs, and troubleshoot issues to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user guides, and deployment procedures.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in .NET technologies to continuously improve development practices and drive innovation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years Proven experience in software development using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and best practices. Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), version control systems (e.g., Git), and modern development tools and frameworks.
• good exposure to UI design principles & hands-on experience in developing the UI using HTML and JavaScript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, taking ownership of tasks and contributing to group success.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular frameworks).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
