Come join the Virtual Experts Platform (VEP) as a Software Engineer 2. VEP powers AI-driven digital expertise and AI-assisted human expertise for all Intuit customers to ensure customers who enter the Intuit ecosystem never experience a ‘dead-end’ and always have a trusted expert by their side to help them along the way. VEP is core to Intuit’s Big Bet 2 and serves every single customer and that touches all the products across the tech ecosystem including expertise-led offerings such as TurboTax Live, TurboTax FullService, QuickBooks Live.

We are looking for seasoned technology lead with platform mind and experience in building and running highly performant solutions at scale. You will draw upon deep technical expertise, solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to steer the platform with a futuristic vision and innovation. You will quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player.

This role needs a highly motivated, self-starter with strong problem solving & technical skills. In this role, you will be a trailblazer working on complex features and functions that experts rely on for collaboration with customers to delivering the service. Along with coding, you will be responsible for working with product managers, other developers and designers on our agile team structure. Responsibilities

• You take pride in creating iOS magic
• Expertise in quickly translating design (Figma, Sketch , PDF) into working iOS code
• Work closely with Product Management (PM) and Experience Design (XD) teams to understand user needs, prototype new features, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, estimation, HLD/LLD, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and technology improvements, advocating for changes that increase team efficiency and product quality
• Engage in code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to peers to promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• 2+ years experience developing mobile applications using iOS technologies like Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Composable architectures Demonstrated experience working with AI or machine learning technologies, and a keen interest in staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / architecture process, with experience in Agile methodologies and tools
• Experience developing, maintaining and innovating large scale, consumer facing web or mobile applications
• Experience with Unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD), dependency management tools like Swift Package Manager, Cocoapods etc.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product management and design teams to define, scope, and prioritize product features
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
• Effective communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
