As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for building custom applications that can interact with different systems to solve business problems. Establish and document development best practices and share it with the whole team. This role involves active hands-on development and daily interaction with functional specialists, other developers, business users, risk and security auditors, or any stakeholder involved, therefore it is essential to have excellent business process knowledge, a good understanding of financial processes, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Deliver applications from idea inception and validation to a scalable solution.
- Ability to take fast decisions in a very dynamic environment, with some level of uncertainty
- Driving and leading architecture design discussions and actively documenting them.
- Build template solutions based on Booking’s technology stack and mentor other team members to follow the best approach.
- Maintaining and supporting existing applications.
- Create technical design and actual implementation of solutions.
- Continuously monitor and propose improvements and innovations in our integration landscape.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience of frontend/backend development with NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, VueJS, HTML and CSS.
- Experience working on products that impact a large user base or in an entrepreneurial startup environment.
- Quick delivery of end-to-end solutions to validate ideas and produce quality products
- Confident NodeJS/Typescript skills
- One of modern web frameworks experience
- Ability to manage and deliver end-to-end API lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL scripts
- Automation experience (code generation, automated testing, DevOps)
- Experience defining and configuring devops processes (CI/CD, Deployment Strategy, Test automation, Change management)
- Experience working on a command line in a Linux(MacOs) environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starters with a collaborative, “can-do” attitude.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with managing external parties such as IT business partners, software suppliers, SOX auditors, and third parties.
- Docker and Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- Experience with frameworks like nestjs, express is preferred.
- Experience working with Kafka streams is preferred.
- SAP development experience is preferred.
- Micro Frontend experience is preferred.
- Organized, flexible, proactive, and result-oriented.
