Position: Software Engineer -2

Experience - 3-5 Years

Location - Bengaluru

Develop and execute RF/PHY layer test plans for Wi-Fi (802.11ax/be and beyond) in lab and real-world environments.

Conduct RF performance characterization (EVM, TX Power, RX Sensitivity, SNR, etc.) using test equipment such as VSG, VSA, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers.

Analyze PHY layer logs and RF measurements to debug and optimize system performance.

Automate test procedures using Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for efficient data collection and analysis.

Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to resolve RF/PHY-related issues.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (FCC, ETSI, IEEE 802.11).

Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including signal propagation, modulation, and interference.

Hands-on experience with RF test instruments (e.g., R&S, Keysight, LitePoint, Anritsu).

Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for test automation and data analysis.

Experience working with wireless standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and debugging PHY layer issues.

Familiarity with OTA (Over-the-Air) testing, channel modeling, and MIMO performance evaluation.

Good understanding of scripting and automation to enhance test efficiency.

Experience with RFIC characterization and calibration.

Knowledge of Wi-Fi coexistence testing with Bluetooth, LTE, and other wireless technologies.

Exposure to AI/ML-based RF performance optimization techniques.

Experience with Regulatory Compliance Testing (FCC, CE, etc.).
