About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1 - Build AI-powered agents for administrators to simplify workflows and boost efficiency.
2 - Develop reusable AI Agent components such as prompt templates, evaluation frameworks, and retrieval systems.
3 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale AI adoption across Atlassian platforms.
4 - Ship new features and capabilities daily within a highly scalable, distributed environment.
5 - Write clean, secure, and maintainable backend code following best practices for readability, testing, and documentation.
6 - Review peer code and ensure performance, reliability, and error handling across systems.
7 - Mentor team members by sharing knowledge through formal and informal sessions.
8 - Participate actively in Agile processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
